Dynamic Nature of Sin

The sins we share, are no longer sins.

--
Example: How many decades ago would divorsed individuals have been shunned from Christian church?
Exercise: Track the dynamic path of drinking in the christian church to witness the fluidity of sin.

  • as far as i know, drinking alcohol wasn't a sin until the temperance movement here in the U.S. It seems drinking will swing back to no longer being a sin as long as it is in moderation -- how boring. As far as the rest, "The sins we share, are no longer sins" as long as we're all together on the broad path things will be fine right?

  • Other men will no doubt have a variety of opinions about which path I am on. It is not lonely, nor is it crowded, and things are often fine but trouble comes and I have to wait for fine times to return. I guess its like weather, promises can only be false given enough time. So I'm on this one for reasons other than promises. My circumstance, nature and experience has formed a chain of causation that leads to the effect of me taken this next step on this certain path.
